A very notable project undertaken by our team was the completion of an unfinished, abandoned development that had stood dormant for approximately two years.

​

M&Y were the principal construction contractors, and we were selected and subcontracted by the brickwork contractor, S&K. Under the guidance of an excellent on‑site contracts manager and a highly approachable, knowledgeable site manager, we undertook the demolition of approximately 60 tons of substandard work left by a previous failed company.

On first arrival, the site presented a complex repair challenge — identifying the issues was paramount, determining what could be salvaged and what required demolition and reconstruction.

​

Following a detailed meeting with the S&K contracts manager to outline the specified approach, and maintaining open communication with the site manager, we were confident this would be a successful project to be part of.

​

With the expertise of our labour team, a clear plan supported by RAMS and a comprehensive safety protocol was established. Once the course of action was agreed, demolition commenced.

​

After reconstructing the previously substandard brickwork, we delivered a high‑quality product well within schedule and to an excellent standard. Both S&K and M&Y were satisfied, and M&Y’s project was brought back on course with the quality finish they demanded — as reflected in the drone footage.

Open communication throughout was vital in achieving this outstanding residential building.
