Another memorable project we were involved with was a return to housebuilding with Redrow.  

​

We were already familiar with the type of housing construction they undertook, which allowed us to integrate smoothly into their processes.

​

Now reacquainted with A. Lench Construction, and with a team that had grown to include managers, an apprentice bricklayer, an improver bricklayer and additional labour, Elements Building Solutions Ltd had developed the capability to operate across several teams. With the efficiency that structured management brought through planning and foresight, the excellent workmanship, consistent output and quality being delivered were never compromised.

There were various house types to construct on adjoining plots at this site. Our management team had to organise and maximise resources to enable two efficient, productive and compatible teams to operate simultaneously.

After a brief meeting, a solution was agreed upon. Detailed drawings for both teams were printed and filed in folders on each plot, ensuring the correct house type information was available. A highly proficient and professional site manager supported the request and swiftly arranged for the detailed drawings to be printed in triplicate — one copy for management and one for each team to remain on the relevant plot at all times.

This crucial information was key to maintaining accuracy and efficiency, preventing errors and ensuring the level of quality Redrow demanded, and we aimed to achieve. Any nuances specific to each property were expertly resolved in collaboration with Redrow’s excellent management team.

The Redrow forklift driver proved invaluable — a highly capable operator whose communication and knowledge gave our teams highly professional support and ensured materials were delivered promptly and always available when needed. This coordination, overseen by the site manager and supported with open communication, efficiently provided everything required, to attain a high‑quality standard of brickwork.

A. Lench Construction soon had another project ready for us, following the successful completion and rescheduling of Chester. This next development involved timber‑framed affordable housing — a challenge few teams were eager to take on. Elements Building Solutions Ltd were keen to demonstrate our adaptability, showcase our skills and further expand our portfolio.
